STEP 3:  Memorandum

Once you have completed a successful mediation and have reached an agreement, your mediator will prepare a Memorandum.  The Memorandum is a written document that reflects the agreement that you have reached in your mediation.  It is signed by all parties engaged in the mediation.  Depending on the type of mediation in which you are engaged, you may use the Memorandum as the foundation of further Court Orders or other enforceable documents such as Marriage Settlement Agreements, Custody Consent Orders or Nuptial Agreements.
